Sundays with Stella

There is a certain amount of perfection that comes with a Sunday morning in Queen Anne, strolling with Stella, and wearing my new fall booties.

Usually, I struggle to wake up on Sunday mornings. I’ve never been the girl who wakes up early on a Sunday, face prepped for makeup, hair curled and heels on. Nope, at my best I usually look like to this.  Some print mixing, a denim jacket, and hair that’s a little messy – damn this Seattle humidity.

Every now and then I get to dog sit Stella and she gets to be my best accessory. Coming in at a distant second place are my new booties from Nordstrom Rack. I think I’m regretting not buying them in another color.

Like I said in my previous post, I always look for small details that make a piece of clothing more interesting and perhaps more “expensive” looking.  The quilted detail and zippers on these booties enhance the overall look while the comfortable low heel had me sold.

Sometimes I like to imagine my outfit catches eyes and turns heads, but with Stella she gets all the attention. And rightfully so.
