Favorite 5 Looks from Fashion First

While I didn’t make it to New York Fashion Week, I got my own little taste of the runway at Fashion First.  Fashion First’s core mission is to “Present a on-trend fashion show to promote and support Seattle retailers and designers while raising money and providing Seattle students with scholarship money for higher education.”

With a fabulous collection of Seattle retailers and the amazing students from the Art Institute of Seattle, I picked my favorite 5 outfits from Fashion First.

5. Mercer & Co

I absolutely love this outfit from Mercer + Co. This look is so versatile for a daytime to evening look. Wear tights and flats at the office and swap for a bare leg and heels for night.

4. Intermix

Royal blue jacket, leather pants, and some cat eye sunnies…what more could you want? This look is so chic and can be worn for dinner, cocktails, or out shopping.

3. Canopy Blue

How gorgeous is this jacket?! And warm too! This amazing coat will keep you toasty in the winter and looking like a celebrity.

2. Ragamoffyn’s Women’s Consignment Boutiqueseattle-fashion-first_ragamoffyns2

The skinny bow tie and trench with fur detail is a look a more mature Blair Waldorf would sport. The preppy details mixed with dark tones and fur give the perfect balance of fashion girl meets school girl.

1) The Art Institute of Seattle

The students from The Art Institute of Seattle completely stole the show with their custom designs inspired by Fashion First’s theme: Vinyl Vault. Rock n’ roll band jackets, leather, fringe, and a parade of round sunglasses was the perfect encore.
