Breezy Days & Button Ups

My style inspiration had a complete turn around since my last post. I love that fashion allows me to go from a 90’s punk vibe to clean cut and preppy.  Maybe I was on the wild side too long and I psychologically needed some structure and a linear pattern ;) Michelle and I traveled up to Greenlake for the  beautiful blue water, green grass, and perfect scenery for my preppy look.

It’s the perfect camel color and has a built in elastic belt.  My crisp blue and white striped blouse was a staple in business school and now, is easily transferable into my work wardrobe. To make the outfit a little less traditional, I added a leopard headband and my t-strap studded flats.

Yes, these are the same shoes from my In Bloom post. They are so comfortable and add a punch of style to any of my outfits…casual or dressy!

The breezy day Michelle and I encountered sparked my desire for summer. I look forward to the days of paddle boarding, sipping margaritas in the sun, and wearing colorful rompers! Until then, I will let my hair blow in the wind and hope that wearing skirts will convince the weather to warm up.
